I love cities—the bigger the better. I’m energized by the abundant choices for food, fashion and culture. As a painter walking the city streets with my camera, eyes sharp, I’m fascinated by reflected light and cast shadows, surprising color relationships and challenging textures. Most of all, I’m intrigued by how shapes, lines, figures, buildings, cars can be orchestrated, transcending the camera’s lens, to become something more.
