| Nature 2007 From my high rise studio I see a snowcapped peak on a remote horizon. I observe the arc and swoop of seabirds, their daily trapeze, beyond my window. I marvel at the lyrical pattern of footpaths across fresh fallen snow, and the crystal branches of bare trees splayed against the melting pavement. All of this is too much to ignore, and indeed a distraction to my other work. |
